Connections Behavior Planning and Intervention welcomes Lou Lasprugato, Peer-Reviewed ACT Trainer! This event will provide background on ACT and Contextual Behavior Science, introduce the concept of ‘creative hopelessness’ for motivating clients to embrace behavior change, and the ‘ACT Matrix’: a simple and versatile tool for structuring client-led conversations to identify long-term reinforcers, attending to private events that accompany or elicit undesirable behaviors, and target behaviors for clients to engage in.
