- Connections Behavior Planning and Intervention welcomes Dr. Natasha Marroquin, BCBA-D, for an online webinar on using ACT and MI to strengthen partnerships.
Abstract:
Classroom management forms the foundation for the development and reinforcement of positive, pro-social behaviors. This set of strategies also develops stronger engagement, more time on task and ultimately more skill learning. In this session, we will explore how emphasizing proactive classroom management leads to positive outcomes. We will discuss how principles of applied behavior analysis form the basis for the strategies used, and how behaviors are taught, reinforced and maintained. We will also spend time exploring how whole classroom management sits within the MTSS and PBIS frameworks.
