Connections Behavior Planning and Intervention is excited to continue our Free ABA Info Sessions with ‘Teaching Self- Advocacy’

One of the most important skills we can teach our learners is self-advocacy. Along with knowing how to ask for what they need, we want our learners to trust themselves and have confidence. This presentation was made for individuals interested in taking a small step in learning how you can foster self-advocacy and confidence. We will discuss the differences in consent and assent and define assent withdrawal. We will get into specific examples of each of these things and look at some small actions you can take with any learner today!
