The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) has awarded Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention with a 2-year Accreditation, recognizing the organization as a top behavioral service provider in the country. The Accreditation celebrates exceptional behavioral health providers that excel in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction and qualifications, and consumer satisfaction. These areas are measured via a wide-ranging audit, including interviews with agency clinical leadership, a detailed staff qualification review, anonymous staff satisfaction survey, and anonymous consumer satisfaction survey.
“Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention sets high standards while utilizing current best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Their participation in the peer-review process shows their dedication to consistent improvement and the use of highly qualified staff and best practices in programming,” said Sara Gershfeld Litvak, Founder of BHCOE. “We are very excited to congratulate the Connections team on running an ABA program that is effective, ethical, and a very valuable resource for the King County area autism community and beyond.”
BHCOE is an international accrediting body used to help funders and identify quality behavioral health providers. Acting as a third-party, the organization systematically measures and reports on existing quality criteria in the behavior analysis community using standardized methods and practices, and awards only those service agencies that meet these standards.
“Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention was founded to positively impact the lives of our students and their families. We wanted to provide high quality services through our highly trained staff and set the standard for high- quality ABA services in Washington State. We could not be prouder that every day Connections staff enrich the lives of students, staff, and families,” said founders James Kidwell (PhC, BCBA) and Paul Mullan (PhD, BCBA-D).
“At Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention, we are passionate about providing top quality care and we are very proud to receive this Accreditation reflecting our values and our commitment to improving the quality of life for our clients and their families. We are thankful to our team’s dedication and skill that allows us to help clients make meaningful social, behavioral, and academic progress,” said Nicolle Simon, M.Ed., BCBA.
